This Place Is So Empty! || Updated 03-03-15 ||

So freaking empty. I think we all should start advertising on any games we play, so we can get more members. I don't think it's safe to have such a low active member count.... I'm going to start advertising this clan on the following games :
TF2 // Actively Advertising
CoD WaW (Tunngle) // Coming soon
CoD Black Ops 2 (Redacted client) // May be removed, Redacted is nearly dead
Combat Arms // About to start advertisng
Sauerbraten // Coming soon

And I might include more games.

Except for the fact that I don't play online games anymore. All Godzilla games are not online games or the online play was shutdown. There's a chance the PS4 version will be online, but that isn't confirmed so far.

I'm advertising on games I play.... but yeah, it isn't easy.

Yeah, we just need more people here. Advertising the clan should be a top priority. It looks like this place is dying, since no new members are showing up.

We could purchase ads on other gaming sites... That might give us some ppl...

We need to branch out into other games, and actually branch out not just make a single thread on a different game.

We should NOT branch out anymore. We need to all find a game we can all play together. We're divided enough as it is, there is no need to make it worse.

I guess we're waiting for Battlefront but... we can't be dead until then.

Well what should the game be? some people dont have consoles, and some people dont have gaming computers

Well almost all of us have PC's, Only games I play on my pc regularly tho now is elite squadron and Battlefront II, xbox is far cry 4 and gta 5

BFII Might be the best option, due to the fact that it is similar to the game that gave birth to this clan, and the fact that it can run on lower end computers.

Hum, I've tried it, laggy as hell on MP :/

I'll try to advertice on some PS3 games such as gta5, and also I'll try to advertice in some pc games. Don't know if that will work though.

My internet is pretty decent. It isn't super fast, but it works.

no there are certain servers now that have no lag, at least for me

Are there any other ISP's where you live? My area only has Comcast.... But atleast it works good.

My Internet download speed is 1.5mbps. It is a lot better than it was years ago if you remember Anubis.

Man, me playing ES with that 0.16mpbs Internet speed...those were the teleportation days. lol

I've been saying all this stuff for a while.

This place is practically dead and college isn't helping me stay active.

I've been advertising on destiny and we have a not too bad player base on there, but i could definitely do with more support. Socially integrated games like Destiny are the best choice.

Why? Because Sony, MS all those companies want games like Destiny where you play the game, stop playing, but carry on socialising with the people in the game. e.g. by using the mobile app to organise raids etc.

If we can get people hooked onto our clan as much as they're hooked onto that kind of game, we'd be set. We need people who love the community, love the site enough to spend hours here and stalk every minute on their phones.

Getting that is hard, near impossible. I can't get anyone on bungie.net to join.

Purely because this site doesn't offer anything.

We need people writing posts, articles, etc. We don't get that.

I'm not being funny, but to simply say 'I can't help the clan because i don't play the same games as you' is just wrong. We can have gaming news posts, etc. Just general stuff for people to read and keep interest in. 

Besides that, we can't just advertise anymore. I learned straight away nobody joins when you stick a link out there. You need to chat, get to know people. That's what dan did at the start of FGN and i try and do that on destiny now. Nobody else seems to do that.

Ultimately, to advertise, you don't just stick a link out, but you become a prominent member of a community like bungie.net, etc, you get contacts on there and people who follow you or like you and then you tell em about this place. 

This post sounds harsh and rightfully so because its time people realised this site is NEVER GOING TO GET BETTER unless the advertising pans out.

You can't just pin your hopes on one game to save you - it never works that way.

Gaming is a dynamic industry, and clans, developers, console makers are challenged with keeping up, and its time we moved into the future, spread out a little bit, got some fame on other community sites, got our name out there and eventually got some people on here.

For example, if you look on our bungie page, we have abt. 23 people WHO PLAY IN GAME.

Most of them talk to each other and chat. Some even help recruit. I want to talk to them more, to help, to chat. I struggle for time to do that.

But, nothing stops someone else going on there having a chat about general gaming, life, etc. My point is that getting to know people on these sites doesn't have to be about talking only about the game. Who cares if you don't know anything about destiny, you made the effort to chat to them, get to know them. They'll respect you for that and they'll be more likely to join .
