Windows 10 is SPYWARE!?

Wow, that's dumb. I'm staying with Windows 8.

no dont , windows 10 is so much better, at least microsoft is giving you the option to opt out, google does this without asking, reading all your gmail, youtube , google searches.

I don't really care, I've grown too used to Windows 8 anyway. And I hate change, I get p1ssed off whenever Youtube does even a very small update.

Yeah, a friend was telling me about this earlier...doesn't surprise me but whatever. I've enjoyed Windows 10 so far (better than Windows 8), though I still prefer Chrome over the new browser.

Don't have it yet. Most of this relates to their online services but some is genuinely about W10. Not surprised. US government already does this. Lets be honest, if you had the power to see what everyone in the world does with their lives, wouldn't you?

That is the release preview. The official version ( the one I'm using now) only forces updates, which can be disabled if you're smart enough. But yeah. That sh*t doesn't exist in the final version.

They did it in the Insider builds too, but there it was for collecting data to help develop the system and fix bugs. But now... Idk, why do they want that? I already had disabled it, but still, I can't find a reason for them wanting that.

I take all of it back. Windows 10 is straight up MALWARE.

Can't stop updates, even with Update services physically disabled...
Real Time protection turned on without my consent, and is turned back on even when I turn it off...
Cortana is always listening to me..
Windows Sharing settings turned on against my will and whenever I disable, it just turns back on, like Real Time Protection.

Don't install Windows 10. It's disgusting. What a shame, I really wanted to love Windows 10, but Microsoft had to pull the NSA bullshit. At least Apple refuses to give up personal information for anybody. Shame MicroSpy can't do the same.

We just upgraded to windows 10 and know we have all this bull crap coming out along with it I wanted 3 hours to get this upgrade lol it's not worth it

Well, you can still block it, I'm pretty sure. Not on the home versions though x.x

^agreed deeply this sucks I thought windows 10 could be the future but it look like its the start of people taking our money well more than we already do

dude, Im loving windows 10 better than 7, I never even enabled cortana, I literally have everything disabled that is sharing data with microsoft, so im good, only thing is forced updates which isnt a big deal to me but since i run windows 10 pro I can set the install times

yeah, forced install is the only thing I dislike since I usually disable Windows Update lol.

Forced updates alone is a huge reason why I refuse to update to Windows 10. You have no idea how much mod work I've lost just because I left my laptop for 15 minutes and came back to find it automatically updating. Heck, I've encountered problems where the update gets stuck at what it claims to be 100% and then takes 3 hours to uninstall, seriously.

Check what I said in the other Windows 10 topic. It's literally malware, and other people have proven it too.
