so china is building these artificial islands over international waters that many countries travel thru for shipping and other things, so that they can build bases on them and claim those waters and airspace as their own, they just shot down a US drone so sh*ts getting real

You really can't. I'm sure it is possible to leave no traces, but it is extremely difficult.
