China vs the USA

so china is building these artificial islands over international waters that many countries travel thru for shipping and other things, so that they can build bases on them and claim those waters and airspace as their own, they just shot down a US drone so sh*ts getting real

Nobody can say or do anything because China has a permanent seat in the UN. But there will be arguments, for sure.

We have a permanent seat in the UN but that doesn't give us the right to build islands in international waters and shoot down drones. This may lead to some fighting but will be resolved without any major losses

First of all, no one has shot down any drone. Just because one article says so, does not mean it's true. I usually read the news on three different websites every day, and I haven't seen anything about China shooting down anything. If China did shoot down anything, it would be on the main page with 5-6 different stories for a solid 2 weeks (Like the Ebola crisis).

Also, you say that the islands are in international waters, which is not exactly true, considering that about 5 countries have claimed parts (if not everything) that is in the South China Sea. China might be building islands, but that's nothing considering the fact that Malaysia has built a naval-base on one of the islands, and Taiwan has built an airport on another.

^I guess thats true. Lots of incorrect stuff out there mostly designed to make people paranoid and end up buying things, lol.

I'm not too worried. the BBC in Britain hype stuff up 10 times more than anyone else and they haven't said a thing. They get in trouble a lot for being a bunch of biased sods and claiming not to be, LOL.

That is true, information found on one source only isn't reliable.

Reminds me a lot of Tomorrow Never Dies, although it was Britain vs china in that movie.

Yes I heard other countries were doing this as well but chinas is the biggest and most aggressive operation. also I saw somewhere else that china had officially issued a complaint to the USA about the drone incident, who knows tho it could be false or the USA could be suppressing the coverage about one of our drones being shot down.
