My Laptop broke

First topic message reminder :

need to get a replacment, looking for a gaming laptop or a good one for $500 and under. must have a HDMI out port, and suggestions?

I hate iOS less than I hate Apple. I hate Apple less than I hate Apple fanboys. I mean, most of iOS' "amazing new features" are things that Android already had lol.

Wow it didn't last long. I'm sending my vaio in for repair and i got it literally days before we met, lol.

If you wanna try and get something, try and get a vaio. they all have W7 i think and they don't make them anymore. They're really good quality and mine hasen't let me down other than my parents downloading a few viruses, bloatware and hell knows what and some cosmetic damage due to their inexperience with technology.

Most have HDMI out. Wouldn't worry too much about that. Mario is right you can install W7 i.e. buy a genuine copy of W7 and install from a disk or ISO file and put it as your official operating system. I've never done it but Alex has (so we know its easy as hell to do because he's mentally challenged, jk). 

I'd recommend:
-Vaio
-Acer
-Samsung

In that order from my experiences and those of friends.

Why do you hate Apple? They make really good laptops. Have had my MacBook for many years now, and not a single issue.

Apple is more of a fashion statement these days. Very few people buy them for their intended purpose. Schools buy them to make themselves look high tech, kiddies buy them to make themselves look cool. Nobody cares about their tech which is on a par with other competitors at best. Apple tbh was only ever good when it was good at multimedia and Imacs were the pinnacle of editing sound and video and ipads and iphones could complement that with unique software. Now..everybody makes that kind of software and more or less any brand can compete and its just not worth paying for something which isn't better than a cheaper alternative.

I buy Apple products for longevity, not performance. Apple makes the best laptops, build quality wise. Go use a MacBook Pro for 5 minutes and tell me how nice the laptop feels.

My MacBook has had no issues, and it was bought in 2009, so it's getting a bit old now.

Oh, and I put Windows 7 and OS X on my MacBook... I HATE OS X, it's really slow and not my thing. So yeah, Apple products may not perform as well as other sh*t for the same price, but their machines are most definitely built better. Personal experience here.

OS X should be faster than MSW.

^ Yeah i know. This kinda comes from the fact that every teenage girl and 3 year old in Britain seems to have an iphone these days. thats why we say that, Because over here at least, its become like a handbag or something, its become a fashion item, see what  i mean? The actual tech inside may be good, whatever, but i prefer android because of more choice and its obvious that Sony products are the best products in the world, everyone knows that, lol

I did use the macbook pro for a while and i hated it. I just don't like the way OSX works. The hardware is fine, sure.

Longevity - Apples are great for longevity until they go rotten aka. until they bring out a new version, aka. Every year.
In terms of build quality, its easily on par with everyone else. I imagine some people whove had apples for a long time thing they're durable, but i bet thats because everyone takes special care over their Apples because they cost so much xD

This is why I run windows on my apple devices. Such a smoother experience plus the better side of gaming.

OS X should be better imo. but in fact it isn't.

So does mine. Its only cosmetic damage caused by other people that has a problem. I know a person who was running a Vaio with Windows Vista since 2006 - and they still run it today.

Vista was nice and easy to run.

got my new laptop, its double the power of my old one and dual core. will post a screenshot of the specs later, but its literally the same series of laptops I have now just better

no 200 bucks used but it works perfect, just a little wearing on the outside but I use my tv hdmi out and wireless keyboard/mouse so I rarely touch it lol
