PPSSPP V1.0 Released - ES WiFi/Ad-Hoc Emulation Now Almost Fully Functional *UPDATED*

PPSSPP has recently been updated to version 1.0, which adds a ton of improved functions for WiFi/Ad-Hoc emulation that make it possible to play a ton of games online.

What's new :
The x86 JIT has been altered a lot and now performs much better (This is only for x86 based devices, includes Intel Tablets)
Pro Online Support
vMAC Address Spoofing Supported
The Ability to change the Pro Online Server Address(RAW IP addresses may be supported)
Several new games able to use the WiFi/Ad-Hoc - Which includes ES, and by assumption RS and BF2 should be supported as well.

Correction : Android can play online as well.

Hamachi/Tunngle is also not natively supported, unlike in JPCSP, but I should be able to find a way to do it if needed, but for now, Pro Online seems to be working.

There is one setback to all of this, and that's the limit of one PPSSPP online at the same house at a time. You cannot have two devices on PPSSPP and try to play them online at the same time, unless you have them connected to different WiFi.

Same, they took way too long to do this. JPCSP mastered WiFi/Ad-Hoc emulation a very long time ago, yet PPSSPP is still glitchy with Ad-Hoc, and Infrastructure emulation doesn't work at all.

But PPSSPP is much more recent than JPCSP.

I know... But yet PPSSPP has mastered everything BUT WiFi/Ad-Hoc emulation... In a smaller amount of time... Wouldn't you expect, with the speed they are doing things, that the WiFi emulation would be nearly perfect as well? I'm pretty sure out of all the things to program in PPSSPP, WiFi would be the easiest.

No, they focused on doing the rest first. I emailed the creator asking when would AdHoc be ready back in version 0.5, and he said it wasn't a priority at that time.

If the Ad-Hoc works the way I think it does, I'm pretty sure Hamachi is unofficially supported. Just disable the Pro Online option and keep the Ad-Hoc part on, and then try to use Hamachi. In theory, it should work.

I will, I just need someone to test it with me. I can't do this on my own because PPSSPP has the nasty side affect of not allowing more than one device to use Pro Online or Ad-Hoc on the same WiFi network.

If it's not called Hamachi, Dan hates it.

That's a general rule to follow when it comes to vLAN clients.

Can someone provide me with a link to a working swbfes iso please? I haven't been able to find one that isnt corrupted or anything so far.

Hamachi above all? I will give you that it is much nicer than Tunngle, but I doubt it's better than Evolve. It's so clean and free, and unlimited users in one room. You should try it.

You should try downloading from another web browser, or just resetting your router.
