Also, ik off topic, but I finally bought a cheap laptop so I should be more active on here from now on.
But anyways, I have been considering getting into PC gaming to see what it is like compared to console gaming. My only thing is that when I "upgrade" my pc, the only things required are ram sticks, processors, and video cards? Do all those fit for any PC? I haven't had a desktop PC in years but if I buy a gaming PC will it be easy to upgrade?
If I start out buying this gaming PC, is that considered too much money to spend? Lol I'm such a noob. But don't blame me, all my friends are cheap "console peasants." xD

Yeah.... welcome to the dark side.... Welcome to the PC master race... Also, I would recommend you build one from scratch. It's not hard to assemble, and it's less expensive. You can find some inexpensive builds floating around FGN (TwentyJuan's, I think). This is a video of Battlefield 4 on that GPU (It's the 2GB model though):
As you can see, it's not amazing, you probably should get a better GPU if you plan on playing Battlefront. But usually any desktop is easy to upgrade. But I still say you should build ur own.

But if I buy the different things needed to upgrade, will it fit and work on the motherboard of any pc I buy? Like if I buy a cheap desktop but quality processor, ram, and video card, will it work on that cheap desktop I buy?

General rule of thumb for owning and maintaining a gaming computer : Unless you're like me, or better, buy a Desktop, as it will be virtually impossible to find laptops that allow upgrading of the Graphics Card, which is essentially the heart of your gaming computer.
You don't HAVE to build it, but make sure you use a Desktop, as Gaming laptops cost an arm and a leg and again, often have little to no upgrade ability regarding the video card.
Also, the most important of all, research the rig you have. Figure out every thing about it. Including : Powersupply Rating Processor Model Processor Socket Size RAM Type GPU Vendor (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) GPU Model Laptop Model/Desktop
If you own a desktop, it is also crucial you know the make and model of your motherboard.
Once you know all of this, you will know what RAM your computer can handle. What games. What to upgrade, and when.

true, very few laptops can be upgraded, and are expensive as hell.

Yeah, I'm definitely not using a laptop for gaming. When you say find out how much RAM my Desktop can handle, how do I know? Motherboard?

Yeah, it depends on the cpu too, I think. Also, get 8GB. That is a good value imo

The motherboard decides how much RAM you can use. This is due to the very nature of how modern DDR RAM works, it has to do with a few chips on the motherboard.
Judging on the fact that your computer(the amazon link) comes with 8GB of RAM, you can at least upgrade to 16GB or if that doesn't work, 12GB if 16GB doesn't work.

Either way, the laptop is gone. Also, I believe he was referring to your loss of the laptop, not the method of which it was lost, if that makes sense. :P

Unsure. One that can handle light gaming while being easy on the wallet. Probably some ASUS or Dell laptop. I don't have the money for a new MacBook Pro, although it does seem appealing. Then again, only get Windows 10 support on the new models, so NO THX.

I see... Well, idk really, but if you want some gaming, any PC with a dedicated GPU should do.
