Gaming and Movie Community

First topic message reminder :

Maybe we should rebrand as a Movie and Gaming site?
we always talk about movies, maybe more then gaming, or about the same, we still talk alot, and it might draw in more members,
what do you guys think? and if we do decide to do this how can we rebrand the site so people know its a movies and gaming forum

I see what you mean after translating your post.

However, the movie section doesn't require our videogame core to be fully set up and established, its simply another forum on the site which requires no effort on anybody's part.

that will make us look less...professional, having both without one of them being done.

Idk...still. Maybe a point but right now most of the things we talk about are movies/shows/television related with some gameplays thrown in the mix

ikr, thats what i was saying, that we already talk about it alot on here, it would let us be able to let others know we talk about movies too. or when we advertize just say were a gaming community but we also talk about movies alot. 

but then we cant add godz to the banner, unless dylan figures out a way to sneak a easter egg godz image in the banner lol

I feel this topic is going nowhere and there are no real disadvantages against it.

Anyways, to get this site off the ground, we need ballsy decisive, but incisive action.

I think it would be very smart, neat and interesting to stick a film reel somewhere hidden in our banner as an easter egg type thing, but more obvious.

Flash idea:

Why don't we stick the banners of the clans we shut down on FGN and the clans we've fought before as easter eggs in our banner hidden???

Guys as a new member and a new recruit i think i have the opinion you guys might have been looking for: when i first visited the site all i thought basically that this was a gaming only site, but as you guys mention its also about movies too. What i think we should do is make some sort of vague site name if youre changing that like "Gaming and relateds" or "Gaming and general geek stuff" or something, or instead of changing the name just change the banner to be half gaming half movies, tech, geek stuff so that people when they first enter the siite even if its advertised as gaming focused they can instantly see its about more than that, otherwise the site looks like its only for gaming like i said (which i wouldnt mind lol). And yes, marketing is an important aspect to make this site grow. Witout the marketing on other communitites and etc. we will still all be talking to each other 10 years from now with no new members.

Edit: Also if oyure going for professionalism you should make the site a bit cleaner and more intuitive, from what ive browsed and seen i dont know where anything is or how to acess anything, also a better site design might help its a bit too red and black (sorry if im stepping on anyones toes here)

I love that idea, its covers what we really talk about here. Of course our main focus is gaming but we also talk about tech, movies, and entertainment.

we're gonna have to figure out how to word this and where to put it on the site, like the pop up welcome thing for new guests, and/or the "Welcome to Future Gaming Network!! Enjoy your stay!" text under the banner  and/or the scrolling red text up top.

Dark I trust you more with the wording and stuff as you wrote everything I mentioned anyways lol


Also I love the idea of a movie reel and some easter eggs in the banner :p
maybe we can get somethin tech replated in there too like an apple logo ( haha no jk mario will quit, android ftw :p )


also the red and black is the theme, also my favorite color combo, its all about personal preference, some people will like it some people wont, you cant ever make everyone happy, most people like our color theme tho.
