How To Install OpenVPN and Use a FREE VPN For P2P/Web

Since Dan has been having a ton of trouble, I decided to make this guide for anybody who wants to use a VPN for FREE with NO account to ANYTHING.

First, download OpenVPN from here : http://sourceforge.net/projects/securepoint/

Install OpenVPN.

Go here and download the files you need to connect to a VPN. : http://www.vpnbook.com/
Click on the "OpenVPN" tab, and you will see the links to the config files for Europe, USA, etc.

Download those and ***extract*** to desktop.

Make sure to keep the tab open on vpnbook, so you will need the password and username that are below the download links!

Open OpenVPN by clicking the shortcut on your desktop and you should see a little BLUE shield in the taskbar near the clock.

Double click it and you should see this :


Click "Import", and you should see this :



Ignore the top part, look at the bottom where it says "Import existing configuration:"
Click on the "..." and navigate to where you extracted your downloaded files.

It works best to select the tcp80 of whatever server you downloaded from, as port 80 will always work.

Click "Import" after you have selected your file and it should look like this :



Make sure you have the tab open with vpnbook, and make sure you click on "OpenVPN", you should see a username and password below the files. It will look something like this :



Click "Connect" on OpenVPN and enter the username and password provided by VPNbook.

If all goes well, the shield will turn green, and you're now using a VPN! Enjoy!

I usually connect to my Netherlands VPS instead of using a VPN, cuz I mostly use VPNs to unblock sites and such.

I use VPN's to unblock sites as well, but the Europe VPN config files allow P2P(Torrenting), so this is perfect for Dan.

yeah, that is true.

I probably cuda figured it myself but I have been working 11 / 12 hour days lately so I have only had a few min to spare whenever Im on my pc to mess with it
