I gotta say, i like this game and i like what they're doing with the COD franchise as a whole. Its less mindless killing, more morality, i love it.

I'll definitely buy AW sometime and i'm deeply interested in this game which is unusual cus i'm not a COD fan.

Everyone is complaining about Exo-Suits being is BO3. Appear antsy people did t like the concept that much from AW

Its reallly strange because everyone loved AW and i personally thought it was really good when i watched youtube so i will get it for PS4 in a bit when its cheap. I'll get this one too. 

The thing i like about this game and AW is that they tackle the morality of science and ask the question about how far can we push computers. I find that interesting because computers atm are replacing humans, especially in my country where everyone is used to doing things by hand (its a hard work ethic mentality that gets passed down every generation). I think they have a chance to make this a good game, not just a good COD, but a good game in general, so i'ma stay tuned, see what it turns into.

I don't think BO3 will be bad, but CoD is turning into something else.

I think thats a good thing. The games have meaning now.

Yeah not just mindless shooting and raging. I loved AW and I will love every COD after that if they keep this trend up.

Do they? I don't mean it like that. I'm talking about the campaign, which is the part of CoD that I really care about. It's... different. Maybe like MGR:R is to MGS. Not necessarily bad, but it is not the same thing.

I think at a certain point, most companies will rush games.

Erm....no? COD BO3 is made by treyarch whose last COD game was BO2 which released 2 years ago (i think). 2 years is plenty time to make a game. I think its actually the average development time,

1 year is rushed (Assassins creed, Battlefield)

2 years is average.

3 Years dev time is a dev who cares about quality e.g. Naughty Dog, Rocksteady.

5 Years dev time is a dev who cares about a really good game, although must have multiple projects on the go at once (The last of us was 5 years)

5+ years = Game is in development hell. Games: Fallout, Half life, etc. Development hell isn't necessarily due to arguments within a dev, a dev running out of funs or a dev closing down, it also includes games where the dev has no idea what to do with it and how to live up to the standards of the previous games and the hype around them. (like the examples above). Thats why Half life has a 0.001% chance of living up to the hype everyone has around it. The game has been hyped by Valve fans as the pride of PC gaming for years. It'll never be that - its just been too long. If they started Dev straight after HF2 released, then by now, they would have had to delete their files and start again and the game is a mess without a doubt. Fallout is a bit different because Bethesda have been working with other projects and have more of a handle of what to do with big IPs, but in general, a lot of 5+ years waiting for a game, its often not worth it.

Yep. Takes a solid dev with a firm ability to resist publishers trying to hurry up release to make sure a game isn't rushed.

I got COD AW before GTA 5 but to be fair I play GTA on PC

Gravity Rush had quite some time of development.
I believe (I might be wrong) that Project Gravité started development in 2008 and was released to the Vita in 2012.

Yeah they spent quite some time developing. It was worth the wait because the game was so good.

it was. I finished it a long time ago, but I decided to fix my Vita (again) so I could finally get platinum.

Still missing 3 throphies though.

my brother broke it. remember I fixed it by soldering an MP3 to it? to charge the vita, I'd have to charge the MP3, which had its battery removed and the wires connected to the Vita's battery. Now I have a USB cable coming out of it now :P
It works better too.

Nice and cheap repairs. That's clever

only problem now is that the rear touchpad isn't working, but few games make use of it, and it probably can be fixed.
