So there will be 64 player matches right? I just realized something...

Ok so I am assuming there will be ground to space combat. If that will be the case, I'm assuming it will go like this. Ground, low orbit, space, and the interior of the capital ships.

That is 5 small battles in 1 huge battle.

So you divide teams, 32 vs 32. Now divide the 1 team in the multiple different battlefronts, 6 players on ground, 6 players in low orbit, 6 players in space, 6 players in each of the (possibly) 2 capital ships.

Everyone will be spread thin... The only possible way to make this a huge battle is to either raise the amount of players or add bots.

Looking at the past DICE games, they have never added bots, and I think it is highly unlikely they increase the number of players. How do you think they will fix this? Have they confirmed that there will be ground to space combat? I'm getting a little worried now...

Yeah, DICE doesn't use bots. That will not work well imo.

I wonder if they could make 64 people on ground, 64 people in low orbit, 64 people in interior, 64 people in space ALL LINKED TO THE SAME REAL TIME BATTLE.

I think that would be pretty cool.

I highly doubt they will have 256 player matches. I heard they had a hard enough time putting 64 players in BF4 to begin with. I hope they can figure something out.

Its technically not 256 players. Its 64 players in 4 different matches, interacting with each other in real time. 

It would be possible, just require a lot of server processing on Dice's part.

4 Seperate matches where perhaps you only influence the score board and shield status of capitol ship based upon what goes on in other matches.

Its possible.

All you'd have to do is change the values of the shield status, bombing anything on ground, etc in real time. 

Its not impossible as it wouldn't be 256 players processing 3D graphics on the same match in real time.

Its just really difficult and expensive.

Either way, who cares. Why bother talking about crap we don't even know about yet.
