You over dramatize stuff and are quick to use the banhammer.
You also seem to like to act like red when it comes to your position, the old red.
Yes, you may be a loyal and old HACK member, but that won't give you my respect, if you act cool to me and others and not start throwing "Ill ban u if u no stfu" lines in the xat when someone is arguing with you then I would show you my respect and treat you like any other friend.
I always crack people off just to toughen people up, humans are soft and need a few punches in the stumache sometimes.
one thing you wanna know is that you need to be careful what you say,
You see, the last person who even said that he didn't give me any respect was forced to by dan who threatened him with a ban himself.
You see, you have to give me respect because i'm the co-leader and second in command on this site and thats how it goes, i'm afraid.
And, i generally throw the 'i'll ban you if you don't stfu' lines when the fight is about someone else.
Lemme show an example:
Two people are having an argument when i come on xat
I tell them to be quiet and tell each person's side of the story./
if someone carries on, i will throw in that line against them.
because to solve a fight, both people need to be calm and tell each side of the story so we can settle differences in a calm, civilized manner, like normal humans do.
If people can't grow up and accept thats the way things are done irl and thats the way i do things here, then maybe its about time those people need a reality check and to grow up and understand the way the world works. Its childish. Fighting itself is childish.
Now i've posted that last part, someone will come on and say:'you were fighting before'
Admittedly, yes, i was, it is hard to follow those guidelines/rules stated above when its more personal. The difference between me, red and other childish people (red isn't childish) is that in the end, i made the right choice. I gathered evidence, built up a case and was able to prove and provide a reason to ban him and hence did ban him.
And i dont over exaggerate.
If someone needs to read something because its important, then is it not simpler to say: 'read this or i will ban you'
And yes, i do say that sometimes because when everyone needs to read something, they need to read something. and if they don't, then maybe they should consider leaving because thats not the way we do things on hack.
With regards to my last point and to some other people on hack, maybe some of you need a reminder of what it means to be on hack:
-You follow rules without question
-you obey leaders without question
-you respect people with higher ranks
- if someone in a higher position tells you to read something, you read it as it must be important
-If you meet a person THROUGH hack, it is the sole responsibility of the admins and leaders to control how much you socialize with that person and if you do socialize with that person and a leader commands you to end it, then you must end it. BUT, for you to be told to not socialize with a person, the leader must provide valid proof of evidence as to why.
In short, you meet a person through hack, then hack rules apply at all times. That makes hack a safer place, lowers clan leaches like ace and complies with real-life governmental rules.
If you want a real life example of this last part:
e.g. you meet a person through facebook. This person then starts to feed you anti-whatever views and other content that can be deemed as terrorism. Or lets say they persuade you to join a terrorist cell. Or maybe that person is a paedophile. Whichever one of these doesn't matter. Lets say this person does innapropriate things with you/to you, etc, you get the idea. Well, if this happens on a large site like facebook, then the facebook admins would get questioned by the authorities as to why they failed to stop this on their site and would get punished as a result.
Whilst hack clan is none of the above and not subject to any of that should that happen, we still have that rule there for the benefits it brings (mentioned above)
So, don't call me a dictator or anything. I enforce the rules harsh, yes, but hack becomes a better, safer place as a result.
Whenever i think someone is doing something wrong or out of line, i will tell them and i don't care who or how many people it hurts, it needs to be done correctly so it doesn't cause problems for hack in the future. Put it this way, i'd rather lose 6 members or so right now, or lose 30 in the future. If i'd caught onto acehole faster, we would not have had half as much trouble or members with split loyalties as we did and thats where the last part of that point comes from.
So, again, i'm not a dictator, if i tell you something, it is because i know it is for the better.
-Finally, you can ask questions, but boycotting leaders, harassing them or otherwise similar is not allowed. And arguing with them is forbidden.
^Right now, we're having a controlled discussion about this.
