If anybody play xbox still add me gt FGN PaRaDoX II a lot of my friends wanna like chat to new people and I want to invite them here but they only play cod and I'm wondering if we still have a cod section?

Meh, not sure if any of us still play cod. I stopped when I got a VAC ban on BO2 lmao

tbh, nobody here plays COD. maybe at some point in the future we will, but cod is a dying brand. They had a good release with BO3, sure, but its on the way out and has been for years, ever since BO2 tbh.

idk if we could ever start a community on a very cluttered, dying franchise like cod.

Understandable dark I agree there is a lot of people that still play mw3 it's not hard to find a lobby full of people on any game mode it's incredible but yea it's been dying ever since but worth a shot never hurts to ask.

I still play gta on my 360 a lot because I have modded gta $ my GT is DanDino8100

By all means, glad you brought it up. I'd enjoy it while you can tbh. I was just explaining why I can't see us ever getting a sizeable COD community and why we can't use MW3 to even think about starting one, lol.

It has the best concept out of all of the recent franchises, very good gunplay, unlimited scope for ideas, a strong community, mass appeal, PVP and PVE.

I disagree. I believe that Battlefront will be the one replace COD.

^ I'd like that, but no way will that ever happen when 70% of the gamers hate it for "NO CONTENT ONLY 4 MAPS AT LAUNCH" and another 10% hates it because "IT RUINED BATTLEFRONT F***EA".

There's some people who say "Battlefront 1 was better than EA's Battlefront" and they then proceed to say "No space battles!? F*** U EA", yet space battles were never in Battlefront 1 either. :P Enough proof that they're just trying to come up with some excuse as to why the game "sucks".

I'm saying the next Battlefront game. The current one just sets a good frame for the next one (which will surpass COD).

I'd rather have just one game with a longer lifespan, but oh well.

I disagree further. Battlefront will surpass COD, but it won't replace it. Its shooter system is not as enduring or as good as Destiny's anyway, but thats beside the point. People want an all in one game (with a PVE or Campaign mode), and good PVP. Battlefront has nowhere near the framework for that right now at all. Its PVP setup is better than Destiny's i.e. some custom games and dedicated servers, but on everything else, Destiny is simply a better game.

Added to that, Destiny is only FPS, where BF is both and the majority of players play 3rd anyway and Destiny's community is both bigger and more loyal than BF (the specific community who still plays the most recent BF, NOT FANS OF THE ORIGINAL BATTLEFRONTS).

To summarise; Destiny has the best setup out of any game out there right now to be the next big esport, big PVP game, big FPS shooter, big MMO. It can do it, Bungie just needs to tap its potential for destiny 2. Do you really trust EA to do the same for BF2?

People are tired of Bungie. They were at their peak with Halo 2.

I think you'll find a lot of people liked Halo 3. Sure they've made mistakes, but if they can pull it off, they fill a new gap in the industry which no other game as been able to do yet. Star Wars gaming franchises aren't about innovation in the gaming industry, they never have been; they've been about very good star wars themed videogames. That's why they're not gonna be the next big thing. They certainly grow and become more popular as star wars has a golden period with all of the movies releasing, but its not the next innovation in gaming. Destiny marks the start of a new franchise, a new genre and a new era of the gaming industry; a game thats interconnected on MMO levels, but appeals to casual players from all genres. This holds more promise than anything else out there at the moment. Why else do you think Destiny gets such a loyal fanbase and so much hype around it?

It doesn't seem to have much hype on the XB1. The popularity of Destiny seems to be much higher on the PS4.

P.S: I hated Halo 3. The trajectory of shots was terrible.

Btw, Idc about Halo, lmao. Never played it. Ik H3 was a projectile shooter though, so what you're saying makes sense. All i'm saying is they have something good with destiny.

I kinda stopped liking both the PS4 and the X1. Atm, the only reason for me to care about PS4 is cuz of Gravity Rush: Remastered (originally a Vita exclusive) and the upcoming Gravity Rush 2.

I find it kind of... silly that they're essentially PCs. I mean, it has nothing to do with the actual content, but most consoles have been... different somehow. I'm talking about the architecture. GB had a Z80, PSP was MIPS, PS3 was CELL, etc - it kinda feels weird that currently the consoles are x86 just like PCs. And the PSV being ARM and all. Everything pretty much uses the same hardware, I'd rather have a single console with all the games.... you know, like a XStation of something - a single console, everyone optimizes their games for that specifically or whatever. Even though I prefer mouse/keyboard controls (for most games anyway), a unified console platform would be awesome. I couldn't care less about graphics, PS10000 having better specs than Xbox 1440 or whatever. A single platform with people actually focusing on developing the games to actually make them unique experiences would be awesome. Instead of having a ton of games that are essentially the same, or games that essentially are a clone of a game from another platform.

I disagree. I think competition is good in the console markets. Keeps both companies and their products at the cutting edge of their game. This is another reason why I don't want to ever become a PC gamer: Steam. Sure, there are alternatives like Origin and Uplay but both of those are crap. Steam basically owns the PC market. I don't want to be a part of that tbh.

Besides, who cares about architecture. All that matters is the game experience, lmao.

Its more popular all over the globe. Nobody east of eastern europe buys an Xbox, literally nobody, lol. Its all Playstations over there because they're made in Japan. In USA, more Xboxes get bought because its american, but Xbox is continually outsold by PS4 because the PS4 is a better product and has more exclusives which appeal to western gamers (Uncharted being the main example). In the UK, some people have XB1s but for the most part its PS4. Everyone I know has a PS4 or wants one, lol

For Xbox, sure. Xbox One aims to control your living room. PS4 is all about the games though. Its designed from the ground up to give the user an excellent gaming experience (fast UI, easy to use, easy to access friends, messages and so on). Its all about gaming experience. And the architecture is designed to give developers easy development options.

Sure, it is. And there *are* good games on the PS4, but not as many as there used to be in previous gens.
