Doubt it. They'll die together, plus the game looks prettier on PC, that's why many ppl play it.

PS4 is more commercially successful and viable than PC will ever be. The majority of casual gamers simply want a box and a disk they can plug in and play. Consoles will be here forever.

Besides, Steam + other PC distributors use other games e.g. COD to finance their platforms (Indie games don't make anyone loads of money), and Activision and the big producers behind those types of commercial games rely on Mass console sales to fund their games. 

Soo.....if Console goes down, activision and the others are left with a big funding problem as PC gamers don't spend anywhere near as much money on games...so......Steam won't be having a good time when its most profitable game genre is struggling :P

shouldn't throw around the top pc master race specs unless you have them. I bet only 10% or less of pc gamers have the very best and fastest pcs money will buy. The rest get decent ones that run most AAA games

sure, but PC has a lot of advantages, even without this. Still, I still like consoles, even if I barely play on them anymore. I would if I got a Vita again.

Valve (Steam) has CS:GO and Dota 2, Half life and plenty other games that give them insane revenue, and they are either valve creations or bought and owned by them.

Face it, the majority of gaming takes place on console by casual players and that's never gonna change. You won't get your average guy who plays games to go through all the crap with PC, building it or getting it built by someone, paying the insane prices, installing all the different software and the PC community would never accept casual players anyway from what i've seen of it.

CS:GO is huge at the eSports scene. <3 CSGO

Imagine if all gaming was on one platform.. ah no more buying double systems or games to be able to play with all your friends

Yeah, it'd be great if everyone just played on PS4. Perfect console, no problems, everyone's life a lot happier :P.
