Our focus

Well, you all read Dan's topic. Why not play CSGO?

The main part of CSGO is competitive (5vs5). You can go as a team. It's a very good and inexpensive game, and doesn't require good hardware.
Also, CSGO is very popular and will stay alive for a very long time.

Count me out....obvious reasons.

Oh...I see. I couldn't find CSGO mentioned anywhere in that topic which is why I was confused...but you're suggesting we use CSGO....I see, lol.

I say we stick to Star Wars or go into Superhero.

Why?

Because:
-Bigged Fanbases
-Can include news about the movies as well
-More games scheduled for release (In star wars)
-Previous games to talk about.
-Also: Star Wars: Battlefront isn't out yet, so it doesn't have a ton of clans and groups trying to outcompete each other. If we focus on recruitment MORE THAN WE'VE EVER DONE BEFORE in the months up to and after SWBF releases, we could get a ton of members which we badly need..much more than on CSGO.

Granted, CSGO as far as I can tell doesn't have a dedicated blog site...But once FGN has say 50-100 members we need to Branch out into other games...into films a bit and into more blog sites and social media pages as well in order to stay alive. Its kinda the same reason why lots of games have mobile apps (Watchdogs, Destiny, Fallout, i think MGS is getting one too). Technology these days is about having something you love in every part of your life. If FGN exists as a clan in several games, a community overall and is spread out over games, social networks(Twitter, Facebook), blog sites, we'll bring gamers with something that doesn't exist yet.

So...by all means make a CSGO blog, but i don't think it should be our main focus.

Also, bear in mind that there are more console gamers than PC.

And...most PC gamers already have a clan or group to be a part of as well.

Yeah, Ik people who play CSGO, and i've heard about the game and its just too crowded. At the end of the day, all it would ever be is Mario and you (Toomanybullets). Now, if you guys wanna set us up as a clan on CSGO and try and bring some CSGO players into our community here, i'd love for you to do that. Do i think it should be our main game??? No. But regardless, I will work my ass off on recruiting in SWBF and The Division. I believe we need to be spread out over several games, most clans are like that these days, and that way you keep members coming. This is because loads of people will play a game, then move on when another good game comes out.

For example, Loads of people played The Witcher 3 and most moved onto Batman when it came out. Likewise, we need to keep up with that and to do that, you need to spread across several games.

So, i would love for you guys to recruit from CSGO, but i'll definitely work on SWBF and The Division.

Either way, this place needs members...badly...or we're finished. So enough talking....more recruiting.

Eh. I think it's a bit late for the whole clan focus thing. I stated that this clan was dying months ago, and I never believed Dan that this place would be more active in the summer. And to be honest, it's even LESS active during the summer than it was during the year.

Although it could be possible to revive the clan, some major changes need to be made.
We should not focus on game that cost money (right now), we should focus on the free to play games.
TF2 is my suggestion, as it is 100% free, has a HUGGGGGGGEEE following, and it runs on anything that can run CS:GO and even lower than that.

Advertising in clan supported games should be mandatory and not a option at this point. The clan is almost dead and we cannot afford to go around without our tags. On ES we went around waving our tags high and proud, let's start doing that for PC games.

I will put the FGN clantag in my Tunngle account when playing on CoD WaW zombies to hopefully pull more people in, but we gotta support everyone we can get.

I dunno guys, as hard and as sad as it is to say this, I think that this clan is toast. I just don't see it making a comeback. Of course I could be wrong, I'm not all knowing, but I think I'm speaking what's on the minds of many of us that would rather not say it ourselves.

I sure hope I'm wrong. :/

When I get my paycheck I might buy CS:GO to help support the clan, but I have no idea how far that will get us.

I like the idea of focusing on free games because we'll score a lot of new members that way. Some people don't like spending money on games so if they're free, more will play. But to be completely honest, I don't think we'll be able to revive the clan. We won't be able to contact the older members that don't visit the site anymore. But I do support the tf2 and csgo ideas

Sadly, I think it's just time to let this happen. This clan has had a very good run, but all good things must come to an end.

I'm going to continue trying, but my expectations are low.

IF we wanted, we could always just start a new one and get out there that way. Could be best.

Why wouldn't we focus on the subsequent game in the Battlefront series? If it weren't for Battlefront, most of us wouldn't be here. However, some attention should still be diverted to other areas. We've been unsuccessful in bringing in new members thus far, but that was largely because most of the recent console gaming releases have had relatively little traffic and already had active clans. With an impressive list of games set to be released this fall, that could all change. Since these games haven't come out yet, there aren't entrenched clans, so we should be able to compete in this area.

we also gotta remember the 2 other star wars games being developed right now, but yes we have alot of work to do to get ready for battlefront, one thing I know for sure is, we will have to do a major overhall of the site or make a new main one and make it battlefront focused, like space for the background and maybe some ships in the distance behind our banner like we've had in the past, either way, we won't be FGN on battlefront..

SWES is better. It talks about a our past. DICE isn't as good cus they might mistake us for devs.
