(I added Godzilla because it's my personal theme and I prefer Godzilla being there over that guy who's usually there.)

@Mario, no it doesn't. I know these things because i know people who've read the bible, and read a fair chunk (prob over 50% in total) myself and i've been to Christian, Mormon churches before and many others and right now i still attend Jehovah's Witnesses meetings.

Hence, why i swear as little as possible and never say 'god' on the forums. 

Bible never contradicts itself, only demonstrates and adds to what has already been said. Never is wrong either.

I can list some. Some are transcription or translation mistakes, but others are plain contradictions.

In the link, you may think the bible "contradicts" itself but in actuality the bible gives clear points out that many people neglect to ponder and take-in, meaning they may think it's the same exact thing as 2 chapters ago. In reality, if you dig deeper into the words, you will realize they each have their own meanings in each verse/chapter. People just look through to find a specific answer to their own problems so they do not actually "get into" the word therefore can not deem the bible as contradicting.

You have to be careful though, many forms of religious text are written by man therefore man writes what he feels is sufficient to a "happier life".

So did anybody here have to sit through some 4 hour stream of sh1tty games just to see a 30 second teaser for a game?

Some Video Game Awards or something. So dang boring, and I found that 30 second trailer on the internet before it actually aired anyway. What a waste of time.

I always waste my time with streams. I always miss them or watch 4 hours of junk only to find out what I was waiting for was already on the internet.

I'm a Christian, I believe every word in the Bible is true.The Bible was not written in one specific year or in a single location. The Bible was written by hundreds of people who were given the words to write from God. The Bible has no major contradictions despite being written by people who lived hundreds/thousands of years apart, and Millions upon Millions of people have put their faith in the words written in it.

I am uncomfortable with talking about religion on this site as it is a very touchy subject and can lead to some pretty big fights. ( christianity isn't supposed to be a religion anyways. its supposed to be a personal relationship with God )

I think the best thing now is for this topic to be locked and let there be no more talk of religion. Idc if you guys wanna talk about it in private, Just be careful not to offend anyone's beliefs

Agreed, no more talking about it.

As a last point, i will add that many well respected non-religious scholars do admit that the bible is written in a consistent style despite the chapters being written thousands of years apart and millions of miles away from each other.

Another interesting fact is that most of the major scientists of the past 500 years have acknowledged the existence of God, this includes recent scientists like Stephen Hawking, people who society looks up to as the gold standard of knowledge.

Interesting that people will gladly listen to their theories, but not their beliefs and interesting that they have those considering science 'has' an explanation.*

Just food for thought.

*Don't doubt the big bang theory, i just think its flawed.
