| I've been trying to redeem my 3 months of PS+ but apparently I can't using a sub account. Wtf is this and how do I make a master account? | |

| OKay, allow me to explain.
The way PSN works is the idea that a parent creates a master account and then creates smaller sub accounts for his kids which each have restrictions on them, e.g. restrictions to ps plus subscriptions.
I have a master account. I had to lie about my age when creating my account, but whatever. I have one. So, i can do anything.
You will already have a master account somewhere, for whatever reason though, you're on a sub account. So, who created your PSN account??? And do you share with anyone else? Did you give your real age when creating?
We need to find a way to make sure you're using your master account. Other wise you'll have many problems.
Now, problem is i created my account 3 years ago and PSN has changed a lot since then.
Either way -> https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/
^Login with your PSN ID and password.
then, you'll see your username in the top right of the page, hover over that, a menu appears and get onto account settings and have a look for stuff around there.
!Be Careful!
Careful what you click on, serious settings in there.

| Ik, I lied my age in putting I was born in October 23, 1980. Does it read the age that's on my email account?? | |

| Dammit I just made a whole new PSN account, email account, and lied about my age and when I added the code in again for the PS+ I got the same error. How do I fix this guys? I'm currently trying to contact support on this live chat thing. I hope they can fix this.
Here is exactly what it says after I put in the code and confirm it:
An error has occurred. (E-82000102)
I then clicked search playstation.com Support and it says:
Error Code: E-8200102
Description: You cannot add funds to a sub account
Recommended Action: Sub accounts do not have wallets. Try adding funds to your Master account.

I doubt it can. Well, Lego's site did read your email's age. I remember, when I first registered, it asked me my birthday, I entered a random one (like on my email) and it rejected it, until I logged in to my email and found out the birthday.

No it doesn't. My email displays my real age, and my psn doesn't. - [PwN]gnmmarechal wrote:

Okay, try going to this link : https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/liquid/cam/account/child/child-accounts-sub-menu.action?displayNavigation=false If it doesn't work, go to - store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com Then, Sign in as I said. Hover over your PSN ID in the top right. Click ACCOUNT SETTINGS A page will appear with a menu on the left. Click Sub Accounts. See what appears in there and maybe try deleting anything that you see, etc, etc. ^From this point on, i can't help you because I don't have any.

| It says no sub accounts have been created.
I was able to contact their support and they told me that my card wasn't activated. I'm going to go activate it and hopefully it will work. I know for sure that the error did not say anything about the card being inactive.
