Okay, before the AMERICAN civil war of Independance, Britain had a civil war.

redcoat notherners vs Bluecoat southerners.

The redcoats in the north of england (where i live) won the war, blues lost.

to this day, every county (think of them as similar to the 'states' you guys have in America, e.g. North carolina, south carolina, etc) has a rose as a symbol, and its either a blue rose (if that county represented the blue coats in the war) or a red rose if they represented redcoats (my county has a red rose). 

So, the redcoats won that war and all i'm saying is it would be interesting if the blue coats won as it would have changed the history of your country as much as mine.

Nowadays, its kinda similar in the sense the Conservative political party has blue colours and the Labour political party has red, lol. 

^If you don't know, its similar to Republicans vs Democrats in the US congress although we have more than two major parties in the UK.
