I got a question to all the technology wise people on hack

I am definatly sure I am getting a ps4 in a year or 2, but the ps4 can play games at 1080p on a hetv. I want to get a decent HDTV but I am not technology wise at anything so I need to know, is 1080p much better then a 720p HDTV? Cause I can get a 720p HDTV for $98 or get a 1080p for $200. Idk what to choose.

1080P is better, yes.

However, most tvs can go further. Mine goes to 2440P

Recently, sony released the new 4K tv, which is 4x the quality of full HD - the highest resolution ever built.

But, those tvs will take years to become popular and the price is $1000 + for even a small one, because the tech is new.

After a few years, when people are more used to the new tech, the prices of 4k tvs and other full HD 1080P tvs will be lower respectively, cus thats how the tech industry works.

atm, nothing can broadcast in the same quality as 4k, so sony need to pimp out blu rays to be better quality and invent new cables that can carry such a high quality signal, until then, nothing will happen with those.

But, i'm just letting you all know about the future.

In addition to that,in Britain if you have around $20,000, or £15,000 you can get a TV actually built into your house as a wall!!!!!!

1080P more future proof, but if you can't afford it, 720P should do fine
